Bob began his construction career as a high school kid carrying lumber and digging holes in the late 70’s. After some time in collage and the military he began working as a carpenter building custom homes on the North Shore of lake Tahoe. In 1990 he passed the contractors test in California and Nevada and Barrow Design & Construction was born. Bob built and remodeled countless custom homes at Tahoe from 1990 until 2007 when he relocated to Idaho. Bob has built and remodeled over 50 homes in Boise, McCall and Sun Valley since moving here.  “ I love Idaho, it’s a wonderful place to raise my son, enjoy the great outdoors, and pursue my passion for creating beautiful homes”.

The planning and design process is the first step in every project. At Barrow Design & Construction we understand that design is not a destination but a journey. Every project starts with an idea and that idea grows and changes over time with the help and input of many people including the homeowner, design professional and contractor. We have extensive Design experience and are capable of creating beautiful homes in house (no pun intended). At the same time, we welcome the opportunity to work with other design professionals.​
